RAMALLAH, Dec 3 (NNN-WAFA) – The ruthless Israeli army, yesterday, imposed a curfew on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and demolished the homes of two Palestinian prisoners, during military operations in the northern West Bank.
Ali Zakarna, a member of the Qabatiya municipal council, said that, the army decided to impose the curfew on the town “until further notice.”
He said, the unsympathetic Israeli forces, had been present in the town for several days and yesterday morning, took over several houses, to use as military outposts before announcing the curfew and restricting residents’ movement.
In addition, the barbaric Israeli forces demolished the homes of Palestinian prisoners Abdul Karim Sanoubar and Ayman Ghanem in the towns of Aqaba and Zawata, also in the northern West Bank, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.
According to Israeli media reports, it was alleged that Sanoubar had planted five explosive devices on buses in the Gush Dan area, set to detonate on Feb 20, 2025, while Ghanem, along with other Palestinians, allegedly, carried out a shooting attack at Mehola Junction, in Aug, 2024, killing one Israeli and injuring another.– NNN-WAFA
