KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 Bernama) — The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) successfully organised the Professionalism & Ethics e-Forum 2025 with the support from the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF). As one of MFPC’s flagship events since 2017, this year’s event has recorded over 930 professionals attending virtually, was also co-organised by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), the Financial Planning Association Malaysia (FPAM) and the Malaysian Financial Planners and Advisers Association (MFPAA), reflecting a strong, united commitment to strengthening professional and ethical standards across Malaysia’s financial ecosystem.
The event commenced with an opening speech by Andy Ng Yen Hen, President of MFPC, who quoted, “Ethics is not a compliance burden; it is a competitive advantage,” which highlighted that trust, accountability, strong governance and responsible innovation are essential to ensuring Malaysia’s financial system remains sustainable, resilient and aligned with global standards.
