HANOI, Nov 27 (NNN-VNA) – The Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, welcomed 30.94 million visitors in the first eleven months of this year, achieving 99.8 percent of its annual goal and surpassing the previous record set in 2019, local media VnExpress reported, today.
According to the city’s Department of Tourism, about 2.5 million arrivals were recorded in Nov alone, including over 851,000 international visitors and 1.65 million domestic travellers.
From Jan to Nov, revenue from the tourism sector is estimated at 120.6 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 4.8 billion U.S. dollars), up 21 percent, year on year, and fulfilling 93 percent of the city’s target for this year.– NNN-VNA
