TOKYO, Nov 25 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) — OKI (TOKYO: 6703) launched its Projection Assembly SystemTM (Note 1) in Thailand and Indonesia, which supports assembly and quality inspection processes, driving the digital transformation (DX) of manufacturing sites on November 25, 2025. The system combines projector-based task guidance with image sensing technologies to help create manufacturing sites where anyone can perform tasks to uniform quality. Marking the starting point for OKI’s global expansion of manufacturing DX solutions, this expansion into Southeast Asia will contribute to the quick solution of a wide range of challenges encountered at manufacturing sites in different countries through local language support, enhanced functionality, and collaboration with local partners.
At manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia, issues such as high labor turnover, workforce diversity, and inconsistent work quality, are becoming more serious. In particular, in assembly processes that rely heavily on manual labor, there is a strong demand for an environment in which anyone can perform tasks to uniform quality, regardless of language or skill level.
