HANOI, Nov 22 (NNN-VNA) – Vietnam and South Africa have elevated their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership, during a meeting between Vietnamese Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh and South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, in the African country, it was reported yesterday.
Under the joint statement, both sides agreed to enhance collaboration in politics, diplomacy, economy, trade, investment, national defence, energy, agricultural processing, innovation and people to people exchanges.
Vietnam and South Africa established diplomatic relations in 1993.– NNN-VNA
