ALMATY, Nov 19 (NNN-KNA) – Twelve people, including nine children, died, in a house fire, in the Turkestan region, southern Kazakhstan, it was reported, yesterday, citing the regional Department of Emergency Situations.
The blaze broke out in a two-story private residential house in the village of Algabas, in the Zhetysai district, and was fully extinguished by firefighters.
According to rescuers, three unconscious people were evacuated from the house and remain in intensive care. Twelve bodies, including those of nine children, were found inside the residence.
Meanwhile, a government commission has been established to investigate the incident.– NNN-KNA
