NEW DELHI, Nov 14 (NNN-PTI) – Indian security forces killed six armed rebels, including two senior leaders, in the country’s central state of Chhattisgarh, local police confirmed, yesterday.
The encounter took place in the forests inside the Indravati National Park, in the state’s Bijapur district.
The killed Naxal rebels collectively carried a bounty of 2.7 million Indian Rupees (around 30,440 U.S. dollars), Bijapur Superintendent of Police, Jitendra Yadav, told reporters.– NNN-PTI
