PETRONAS Advances Global Growth with Suriname’s Blocks 9 and 10

PARAMARIBO, Nov 6 (Bernama) — PETRONAS, through its wholly-owned subsidiary PETRONAS Suriname E&P B.V. (PSEPBV), has signed Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for Blocks 9 and 10, located in the shallow offshore region of Suriname. The agreements were signed with Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. (Staatsolie), Paradise Oil Company N.V. (POC), and consortium partners Chevron Suriname Exploration Limited (Chevron), and QatarEnergy International E&P LLC (QatarEnergy). The PSCs were awarded as part of the Suriname Post Shallow Offshore 2 Bid Round 2024-2025, following the consortium’s successful bid.
