BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov 2 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei hoteliers, travel agents, event management companies, and service providers, took part in a digitalisation networking session recently, aimed at strengthening digital transformation in the country’s tourism sector.
Salinah Mohd Salleh, acting director of Brunei’s Tourism Development Department, emphasised that, digitalisation is now a necessity to enhance competitiveness and attract more tourists.
She expressed hope that the session would inspire participants to strengthen innovation and digital adoption within the tourism industry.
The event focused on providing participants with opportunities to introduce their services, identify industry challenges and needs, and explore the potential of digital technology in advancing Brunei’s tourism landscape.
The Tourism Development Department said, it will continue to organise similar initiatives to support the growth and modernisation of the tourism sector, in line with the aspirations of Brunei Vision 2035.– NNN-ANN
