KABUL, Oct 5 (NNN-BNA) – The construction of 14 school buildings has been completed and put into operation, in eastern Afghanistan’s Logar province, a provincial official said, yesterday.

Funded by the Ministry of Education and international organisations, at a cost of 160 million afghani (over 2.33 million U.S. dollars), the facilities were implemented in Pul-e-Alam, the provincial capital, and six surrounding districts, according to Shah Poor Arab, spokesman for the provincial education department.
