HANOI, Sept 29 (NNN-VNA) – Three coal miners were confirmed dead, and two others were injured, in a gas incident at a coal mine in northern Vietnam’s Quang Ninh province, yesterday.
The incident occurred while a group of five workers were carrying out their task, at an underground mine, operated by the Duong Huy Coal Company, according to the report.
By 12:30 p.m., two workers had been brought out of the site and transferred to a hospital for emergency treatment.
At 1:30 p.m., rescuers recovered the bodies of the three remaining workers, who had died of exposure to toxic gas, the report said.– NNN-VNA
