KABUL, Sept 15 (NNN-BNA) – Afghan authorities have officially commenced exploration and extraction operations, at Tooti Maidan gas fields, in the northern Jawzjan province, yesterday.
The gas fields were being developed in partnership with an Uzbek company, under a previously signed contract for exploration and extraction.
The project has aligned with Afghanistan’s strategic vision, to harness its natural resources, to enhance energy security and economic growth in the resource-rich northern region.– NNN-BNA
