MACC arrests Riza Aziz, stepson of former M’sian PM
PUTRAJAYA, July 4: Riza Aziz, the stepson of former Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, was at the MACC headquarters to give his statement in relation to the investigations into IMalaysia Development Bhd (1MDB). Riza, who is also the chief executive officer of a Los Angeles based film company, turned up at the MACC headquarters at 3.05 pm with his lawyer, K Kumarendran. KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (NNN-BERNAMA) — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today arrested Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz, the stepson of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said Riza was arrested at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya at about noon.

He has been released on bail and will be charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court at 9 am tomorrow for money laundering, she said when contacted.
