JAKARTA, Sept 11 (NNN-ANTARA) – A helicopter with four people on board, crashed yesterday, in Indonesia’s Central Papua province.
The aircraft went down at around 1:40 p.m. local time, while flying from Ilaga Airport in Puncak Regency, to Mozes Airport in Mimika Regency, said I Wayan Suyatna, head of the search and rescue office in Mimika.
“The helicopter has been located. The occupants are the pilot, co-pilot, and two passengers,” Suyatna said, adding that, their conditions remain unknown.
He said, evacuation efforts will continue today, subject to clear weather and other favourable conditions.– NNN-ANTARA
