PARIS, Sept 10 (NNN-XINHUA) – French Prime Minister, Francois Bayrou, was seen arriving at the Elysee Palace yesterday, to submit his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron, after losing a confidence vote in the French National Assembly.
Bayrou on Monday, lost the confidence vote in the National Assembly, over his budget plan, seeking to save billions of euros per year in government spending.
According to the results announced by the National Assembly Speaker, Yael Braun-Pivet, only 194 were in favour of Bayrou, out of 558 valid votes.– NNN-XINHUA
