Indonesian President Reshuffles Cabinet After Weeklong Protest, Replacing Sri Mulyani

JAKARTA, Sept 9 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, yesterday, reshuffled his cabinet, replacing five ministers and inaugurating a new ministry.

The reshuffle affected, among others, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance. In addition, the government established the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Based on various considerations and ongoing evaluations, the president decided to adjust the composition of the cabinet, in several ministerial positions, Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi said, in a press release.– NNN-ANTARA
