NEW DELHI, Sept 9 (NNN-PTI) – Three members of a family were killed yesterday, after the compressor of an air conditioner exploded, triggering fire in a four-storey residential building, in the northern Indian state of Haryana, police said.
The accident took place in Greenfield area of Haryana’s Faridabad district.
According to the police, the three tried to escape to the rooftop, but the door was locked, resulting in suffocation.
Police suspected a short circuit, causing a fire of the air conditioner, leading to its explosion and subsequent fire.– NNN-PTI
