Seven Killed, Nine Injured In Uzbekistan Car Accident

TASHKENT, Sept 8 (NNN-UzA) – Seven people were killed and nine others injured, yesterday, in a traffic accident involving eight cars in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region, local media reported, today, citing the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to official information, a truck collided with two other trucks and five passenger cars, on the A-373 Tashkent-Osh international highway, which runs through the Angren area.

Seven people were confirmed dead at the scene. Five others who sustained various injuries were hospitalised, while another four received medical assistance.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.– NNN-UzA
