YANGON, Sept 6 (NNN-MNA) – The Myanmar authorities seized 420 kg of methamphetamine in eastern Myanmar’s Shan state, the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control reported, late yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotics police stopped and searched a vehicle in Mong Ping township, on Aug 30, and confiscated the drugs, the report said.
A suspect was arrested in the case, it said.– NNN-MNA
