NEW DELHI, Aug 30 (NNN-PTI) – India’s foreign exchange reserves, decreased by 4.386 billion U.S. dollars, to 690.720 billion dollars, during the week ending Aug 22, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said yesterday.
According to the RBI’s data, the Foreign Currency Assets decreased by 3.652 billion dollars, to 582.251 billion dollars, while the Gold Reserves decreased by 665 million dollars, to 85.003 billion dollars.
The Special Drawing Rights decreased by 46 million dollars to 18.736 billion dollars, while the country’s reserve position in the International Monetary Fund improved by 23 million dollars to 4.731 billion dollars.– NNN-PTI
