KABUL, Aug 26 (NNN-BNA) – A new modern library has been inaugurated, in eastern Afghanistan’s Paktia province, providing students with greater access to educational resources and learning opportunities, in the eastern region of the country.
Built for 14.8 million afghani (about 211,400 U.S. dollars), the facility houses a collection of more than 4,000 books, covering diverse subjects. According to the report, the project was designed to promote literacy, support academic research, and foster a culture of reading within the community.
Authorities said, the project was part of broader efforts, to expand access to modern educational facilities across Afghanistan, contributing to long-term social and economic development.– NNN-BNA
