MALÉ, Maldives, Aug 22 (NNN-PSM) – The Maldivian government, has collected biometric data from over 174,000 migrant workers in the country, it was reported yesterday.
Biometric data for 174,152 migrant workers have been recorded, in a centralised national database, since the initiative was launched on May 2, last year, the report said.
The campaign is led by the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology.– NNN-PSM
