HANOI, Aug 21 (NNN-VNA) – Two people were killed, in flash flood, in central Vietnam’s Thanh Hoa province, yesterday afternoon, it was reported today.
Rescue forces recovered one body about 500 metres downstream, while search operations for the other person are continuing amid difficult weather conditions, the state-owned media added.
Authorities said, heavy rainfall had caused sudden surges in local streams, warning residents to exercise caution, when travelling in flood-prone areas, the report said.– NNN-VNA
