Starlink Satellite Internet Officially Launched In Kazakhstan

ALMATY, Aug 14 (NNN-KNA) – Starlink satellite internet, became officially available in Kazakhstan yesterday, the press service of the country’s Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, said.

The service will enable residents across the country to access reliable internet via Starlink’s network of low-orbit satellites. It also ensures stable connectivity, even in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas, expanding access to modern digital services, the ministry said.

On June 12, the ministry signed an agreement with Starlink, requiring the company to comply with Kazakhstan’s laws, while providing services.

Starlink is a satellite internet service, developed by SpaceX, owned by U.S. entrepreneur, Elon Musk, providing high-speed, low-latency broadband internet worldwide, particularly in areas with limited or no access to conventional networks.– NNN-KNA
