Traffic Accidents Killed One, Injured Three In Afghanistan’s Ghazni Province

KABUL, Aug 11 (NNN-BNA) – At least one passenger was killed and three others injured, in separate road accidents in eastern Afghanistan’s Ghazni Province, yesterday, according to local media reports.

The incidents occurred in three districts of the province, including Gelan and Andar, and were reportedly caused by reckless driving. Authorities confirmed that the injured victims were transported to a nearby health centre for urgent medical treatment.

Fatal road accidents remain a recurring tragedy across Afghanistan, due to poor road infrastructure, reckless driving behaviour, overloading of vehicles, challenging mountain terrains, and unsafe overtaking practices.– NNN-BNA
