Jordan Conducts Joint Aid Airdrop Into Gaza With UAE

AMMAN, Jul 28 (NNN-PETRA) – The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), yesterday carried out three airdrops of humanitarian aid, over the Gaza Strip, according to a JAF statement.

A total of 25 tonnes of aid were delivered to multiple locations across the enclave, one day after the resumption of airdrops, amid worsening humanitarian conditions.

Apart from airdrops, a land convoy of 60 trucks carrying food supplies departed for Gaza yesterday. The convoy was organised in coordination with the JAF, Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), the World Food Programme, and the World Central Kitchen, the JHCO said.

Since the start of the Gaza conflict, Jordan has sent 181 land convoys comprising 7,932 trucks. The JAF has also carried out 127 airdrops independently, along with 267 joint airdrops with other countries.

The Zionist Israeli military yesterday announced a daily 10-hour humanitarian pause, in its operations in parts of the Gaza Strip, along with the opening of secure routes for aid delivery, amid growing international pressure over the deepening hunger crisis there.– NNN-PETRA
