VIENTIANE, Jul 23 (NNN-KPL) – Laos’ Ministry of Industry and Commerce, convened a meeting, to review the draft 2026-2030 industrial and trade development plan.
The meeting was held on Monday in the Lao capital, Vientiane, chaired by Lao Minister of Industry and Commerce, Malaithong Kommasith, and attended by officials from relevant sectors, according to a report from the ministry, today.
The meeting aimed to discuss and refine the draft plan, to ensure it aligns with rapidly changing regional and global dynamics, and supports the 10th five-year national socio-economic development plan for 2026-2030.
In addition, discussions focused on developing a clear and actionable plan, expected to play a vital role in strengthening Laos’ economic growth, enhancing sustainability, and boosting international competitiveness.– NNN-KPL
