NEW DELHI, Jul 12 (NNN-PTI) – India’s foreign exchange (forex) reserves, fell below the 700-billion-U.S. dollar mark yesterday, revealed an official data.
The country’s forex reserves stood at 699.736 billion U.S. dollars, after falling by 3.049 billion U.S. dollars, during the week ended Jul 4, as per the weekly bulletin, released by the central bank, the Reserve Bank of India.
This was the first occasion when India’s forex reserves had fallen, after rising for two consecutive weeks.– NNN-PTI
