34th Int’l Arts Festival “Slavianski Bazaar” Opened In Belarus

VITEBSK, Belarus, Jul 11 (NNN-BelTA) – The 34th International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar,” kicked off in Vitebsk, yesterday, bringing together prominent performers, artistes and creative groups from all over the world.

In a speech at the official ceremony, Belarusian President, Alexander Lukashenko, emphasised the importance of preserving and developing Slavic culture, highlighting the festival’s role as a platform for international cultural dialogue.

The “Slavianski Bazaar” is not only a celebration of arts, but also a symbol of unity and cooperation among Slavic peoples, the president said.

In today’s rapidly changing world, it is crucial to maintain the Belarusian cultural heritage, and foster mutual understanding, he added.

The festival serves as a bridge connecting traditions and innovations, bringing together artistes and audiences from different countries, Lukashenko said.

The festival will last until Jul 14, delighting guests with a diverse programme of concerts, exhibitions and creative meetings.– NNN-BelTA
