BUENOS AIRES, Jul 10 (NNN-TELAM) – Argentine President, Javier Milei, issued executive orders, to disband national highway safety and management agencies.
The orders to disband the National Transit and Road Safety Commission, National Road Safety Agency, and the National Highway Directorate (DNV), were published Tuesday in the government gazette and signed by the president.
The DNV was established in 1932, to promote and strengthen the country’s road infrastructure, enhancing connectivity between towns and cities.
The president’s office said, the agency’s activities and complex structure “do not meet current management needs, resulting in slow project execution and high operating costs for the national government.”– NNN-TELAM
