SYDNEY, Jul 9 (NNN-AAP) – A man has been seriously injured, in a late-night shooting, in south-east suburbs in Melbourne, the capital city of Australia’s state of Victoria.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man being found with gunshot wounds, in Hampton, about 13 km south-east of central Melbourne, shortly before midnight local time, yesterday.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A police statement today said that, it is believed that the gunshots were fired from a vehicle and that it was a targeted attack.– NNN-AAP
