Eight Killed In Saudi-Led Air Strike In South-West Yemen

SANAA, Yemen, June 29 (NNN-SABA) – At least eight people from one family were killed, when a Saudi-led coalition air strike hit a house in Yemen’s south-western province of Taiz on Friday, local sources said.

The air strike targeted the house in Warzan area, in Khadir district, killing the family, including women and children, a medic and a resident at the district health centre said.

Five others were wounded in the air strike, they added, on condition of anonymity.

There were no comments from the coalition on the air strike.

Saudi Arabia has been leading a coalition to fight in Yemen, for more than four years, in support of the exiled internationally recognised Yemeni government, against the Iran-allied Houthi rebels.– NNN-SABA
