JAKARTA, Jun 26 (NNN-ANTARA) – A long boat, carrying 13 football players, sank in waters off Batam City, in Indonesia’s Riau Islands Province, yesterday afternoon, leaving two footballers missing, an official said.
Huge waves hit the boat, said Joko Prayitno, a senior official at the provincial search and rescue office.
“Two people remain missing, but 11 others have been rescued by the rescuers,” he said.– NNN-ANTARA
