Brunei’s CPI Down 0.5 Percent In May

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jun 25 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered a 0.5 percent decrease in May, according to official data.

The decrease was driven by a 0.8 percent decrease in both food and non-alcoholic beverages and non-food indices, the local media, Borneo Bulletin, reported, citing the data.

For a month-on-month comparison, the CPI decreased 0.1 percent.– NNN-ANN
