Two Men Arrested Over Separate Attempts To Import Cocaine Into Sydney

SYDNEY, Jun 21 (NNN-AAP) – Two men are facing life imprisonment, after being charged by Australian authorities, over separate attempts to import cocaine into Sydney.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP), said in a statement today that, a 40-year-old man from inner-Sydney was arrested yesterday, after allegedly attempting to possess 30 kg of cocaine that was imported by a transnational drug trafficking syndicate.

In a separate case, the AFP and Australian Border Force said, last night, in a joint statement that, a 28-year-old foreigner was arrested after 10 kg of cocaine was found in his luggage, on arrival at the Sydney International Airport on Thursday.– NNN-AAP
