SYDNEY, Jun 8 (NNN-AAP) – A man has been charged with attempted murder, after allegedly shooting his neighbour, during an argument in south of Brisbane, Australia.
The police service in the state of Queensland said today that, it would be alleged in court that an argument broke out between two men, who are known to each other, in the suburb of Bethania, 28 km south-east of central Brisbane, shortly before 6.00 p.m. yesterday.
During the argument, a 62-year-old man allegedly shot a 35-year-old man twice, once in the shoulder and once in the chest.
The 35-year-old was taken to hospital where police said he was in a stable condition, today.
The 62-year-old was arrested and has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and failing to securely store a weapon.
