KABUL, May 31 (NNN-BNA) – A total of 2,202 Afghan families with 9,288 members, returned home from neighbouring Iran and Pakistan on Thursday and yesterday, Afghanistan’s High Commission for Addressing Returnees Problems said, today.
The commission provides temporary shelters, nourishment, water, medical care, and transportation services to the returnees.
Nearly seven million Afghan refugees, most of whom are undocumented migrants, are currently living abroad, with most living in Iran and Pakistan.– NNN-BNA
