BAKU, May 30 (NNN-TNA) – Azerbaijan’s gold export revenues, surged to 95.4 million U.S. dollars, in the first four months of this year, tripling that in the same period last year, according to the Export Review, published yesterday by the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The increase represented a 64-million-dollar year-on-year rise. In Apr alone, gold exports totalled 30.2 million dollars, up 2.3 times from Apr last year.
Overall, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports grew 18 percent, during the reporting period, reaching 1.1 billion dollars, the report said.– NNN-TNA
