Kazakhstan To Conduct National Census Of Agriculture In 2025

ALMATY, May 27 (NNN-KTA) – Kazakhstan will allocate 3.7 billion tenge (about 7.27 million U.S. dollars) for the national agricultural census, scheduled for 2025, Kazinform news agency reported, yesterday.

The census will be conducted from Aug 1 to Oct 20, 2025, with an online stage taking place from Aug 1 to Aug 31.

Maksat Turlubayev, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan, announced the planned spending, during a briefing at the Central Communications Service.

The cost per respondent amounts to 3.2 U.S. dollars. According to Turlubayev, the bulk of the expenses will be allocated to remuneration of census personnel, technical equipment, and maintenance of information systems.– NNN-KTA
