ULAN BATOR, May 25 (NNN-APA) – The 10th edition of Ulan Bator International Marathon was held here yesterday.
The marathon was co-organised by the municipal government of Ulan Bator and the Physical Culture and Sports Authority of Mongolia.
Around 30,000 professional and amateur runners from more than 41 countries and regions competed in the event, featuring the full marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km marathons, family marathon and wheelchair marathon, according to the mayor’s press office of the Mongolian capital.
Kenya’s Kiura Denis Mugendi won the men’s marathon for the first time.– NNN-APA
