HANOI, May 20 (NNN-VNA) – A series of commemorative activities were held across Vietnam for two days, to mark the 135th birth anniversary of the country’s late President, Ho Chi Minh.
In Hanoi, a special art programme titled: “You Are Ho Chi Minh” was held on Sunday, at Ba Dinh Square, and on the following day (yesterday), a high-level delegation of party and state leaders paid tribute to the late president, at his mausoleum.
A flag-raising ceremony was held yesterday, in Nghe An province, birthplace of the late president, while in the south-central province of Binh Thuan, a photo exhibition and a tree-planting event were organised, said the report.– NNN-VNA
