Man Bitten By Shark At South Australian Beach

CANBERRA, May 15 (NNN-AAP) – A man is in a serious condition, after being bitten by a shark at a beach in South Australia (SA).

SA Police said in a statement that, emergency services were called to the Port Noarlunga beach, 27 km south-west of central Adelaide, about 9:45 a.m. this morning, after reports that a man swimming in the water had been bitten by a shark.

He was helped from the water and treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics, before being taken to the hospital in a serious condition.

The SA Ambulance Service said, the man had an injury to his thigh.

SA Police said that, swimmers at the beach have been evacuated from the water.– NNN-AAP
