TOKYO, May 14 (NNN-NHK) – A Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) training jet, reportedly disappeared from radar, while flying near Inuyama City, in Aichi Prefecture today, local media cited multiple sources within the Ministry of Defence, as saying.
Local fire departments reported receiving emergency calls shortly after 3.00 p.m. local time, stating that, an aircraft-like object had crashed into a pond in the area.
The aircraft is believed to have two people on board, the report said.
Police and emergency services are currently investigating the situation, to confirm details of the incident.– NNN-NHK
