FUZHOU, China, April 28 (Bernama-AsiaNet) — Recently, China welcomed its very first batch of imported fresh coconuts from Indonesia at Fuzhou Airport, and these 200-kilogram treasures were soon shipped to the producer at the Chinese facility of the “Two Countries, Twin Parks” initiative.
“Two Countries, Twin Parks” means China and Indonesia set up industrial parks in each other’s territory to seek synergy, which turns out to be a remarkable mechanism to leverage facilities and policies. On the Chinese side there is the Fuzhou Yuanhong Investment Zone, with a planned area of 61 square kilometers, while on the Indonesian side are three locations, namely Bintan, Aviarna, and Batang, with a planned area of 87.6 square kilometers.
