KABUL, Feb 1 (NNN-BNA) – The Kabul Serena Hotel, has declared that, it will halt its operations today, with management being handed over to the Afghan caretaker government.
Built on the core of Kabul, amidst beautiful gardens, the Serena Hotel has long been regarded as a reputable and trustworthy destination for international guests.
The Kabul Serena Hotel announced in a statement that, it will cease operations today, after nearly two decades of dedicated services to Afghanistan and its citizens. The management of the hotel will be transferred to the Hotel State Owned Corporation, an entity managed by the Afghan caretaker government.
The statement underscored the hotel’s role in hosting a significant number of international guests and state delegations, setting high international benchmarks in hospitality standards, as well as providing training to thousands of local nationals throughout its services.
So far, neither the hotel management nor the government has elucidated the terms related to the hotel’s transfer of ownership.– NNN-BNA
