Joint Saudi-Jordanian Naval Drill Set To Start

AMMAN, Jordan, June 17 (NNN-PETRA) – A Saudi naval task group, arrived in Amman to take part in Abdullah 6 joint exercise, which coincides with the start of the same drill at the headquarters of the western sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said that, the sixth version of the drill will last for eleven days, and aims at enhancing the military ties and cooperation, particularly ways to upgrade fighting preparedness and combat terrorist operations, in the two countries.

Drill director, Colonel Abdulla Al-Omari, said that, the joint training aims to enhance capabilities and exchange expertise in military field, and counter-terrorism and defusing explosives, in addition to enhancing combat readiness.– NNN-PETRA
