Two Pakistani Soldiers Killed In North Waziristan: Security Officials

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, June 9 (NNN-PPI) – A roadside bomb attack, in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal district, on Saturday, killed two soldiers and injured three others, security officials said.

The officials said that, terrorists targeted military vehicle through an improvised explosive device, in Degan area of North Waziristan.

This is the second attack on security forces in the same area in two days.

The army said, on Friday, that, three officers and one soldier were killed while four soldiers were injured in a roadside bomb attack.

Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack.

The military said, Friday, that, terrorists had increased attacks in North Waziristan and during last month, 10 security forces personnel have been killed, while 35 others got injured, including the Friday’s casualties.– NNN-PPI
