SYDNEY, May 20 (NNN-AAP) – A police officer, from Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) police force, was injured in a stabbing incident, in the city centre of Sydney yesterday afternoon.
The NSW police said on social media that, the officer was treated for non-life-threatening head injuries, before he was taken to hospital.
A man, aged 33, has been arrested and taken to hospital for assessment, said the police.
The police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.– NNN-AAP
