Malaysia’s Palm Oil Stocks Up 1.85 Percent In Apr

KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 (NNN-BERNAMA) – Malaysia, the world’s second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks rise 1.85 percent from the previous month, to 1.74 million tonnes in Apr.

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB)’s data, showed yesterday that, the country’s crude palm oil production grew 7.86 percent, month on month, to 1.50 million tonnes.

Meanwhile, the country’s palm oil exports fell 6.97 percent, month on month, to 1.23 million tonnes.

Its palm oil imports, on the other hand, surged 58.77 percent, month on month, to 34,762 tonnes.– NNN-BERNAMA
