Singapore Police Arrested 102 For Illegal Moneylending

SINGAPORE, May 9 (NNN-XINHUA) – The Singapore police, arrested 102 suspects for unlicensed moneylending, during an operation from Apr 22 to Apr 26, according to the latest statement from the police.

Preliminary investigations showed that, 11 suspects conducted harassment at debtors’ residences, 45 assisted unlicensed moneylenders, by carrying out ATM transfers, and 46 helped illegal moneylending businesses with their bank accounts.

Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.– NNN-XINHUA
